Hard to believe but yesterday we celebrated this girl turning 8. Wow, where does the time go!?! The little bundle that came into our lives and turned me into a mother so growing up and turning into such a sweet, mature girl. She sees the world in such interesting and amazing ways. She never tires of the ‘What If’ game, her soul needs to know. She is helpful, creative and an avid reader. She is so much like me and yet so much like her daddy. My favourite thing? Her cute button nose…no, wait, her long, beautiful hair, no, not that either, it’s her sensitive soul, or maybe her love of her family….I couldn’t pick just one – she’s just all around special, the apple of my eye and the beat of my heart.
